柯P終於回歸了！

繼2016年為奧運美國隊作的主題曲米飯(Rise)(X)後，她終於推出了新歌──欠凸的女森(蛤??) Chained To The Rhythm 做為下一張專輯的首波主打

這首歌找來Skip Marley插花，Sia也加入作曲，大家其實不難聽出來這首歌有滿多Sia的特色

知名流行製作人Max Martin也為編曲操刀

註解：

rose-colored glasses 如果某人戴上了玫瑰色的眼鏡表示他只看到眼前快樂的事

sweep something under the mat/rug/carpet 把東西掃到地毯下，指的就是假裝沒看到不去面對

這首歌背後其實隱含很多寓意，看到Skip Marley那段歌詞會更明顯

一開始Katy說她活在自己的同溫層中，被蒙蔽著，所以看不到外面的世界。2016年美國總統大選希拉蕊在各家民調幾乎都勝過川普，她看不到所謂的「trouble」。大家都認為希拉蕊會勝選，但卻出乎意料是川普勝選。

身為希嬸的最佳助選員(她的instagram就是希拉蕊競選總部吧?)，她在希嬸敗選後也鼓勵支持者振作、不要灰心。她拋開難過的事，對著眼前的扭曲(distortion)舞動

Skip Marley這段，「break down the walls」有兩層涵義，她活在同溫層中，不懂外面發生的變化，她也想去了解外面的世界，與這個國家團結一致共同前進。另一方面批評川普在競選時期說的要在美墨邊境築起一道牆，美國是一個包容各種文化並互相激盪的國家，不能切斷與外面的連結。

這段的他們指的是川普身邊的共和黨人士，這裡的「greed over people」也被拿來當作批評共和黨(GOP)的口號

這邊隱喻如果政府再亂搞的話，人民是會憤怒的，就像喚醒了沉睡中的獅子
