MTV每年最重要的頒獎典禮，音樂錄影帶大獎就要在GMT+8時間8月28日早上8點直播，紅毯直播會在6:15在開始

今年的場地和三年前一樣在Inglewood的The Forum舉行，並由柯P(Katy Perry)擔任主持人
