隔了好久才翻濕濕的新專輯，看完Miss Americana之後再來聽一次這張專輯更有感覺。這一首the man講的是社會的性別歧視，過去幾年大家一直以濕濕交往過好幾個男明星並把他們寫進歌裡這點攻擊她，但換做是男歌手做同樣的事卻好像是可以接受的。如果她是男性，她反而會成為那個為女性的成功喝采的真男人。

MV非常有趣，男主角是Taylor Swift扮的，她把臭直男行徑和特權演得太好了。結尾的部分來個大反轉，幕後的導演是Taylor Swift本人，她對男主角說的話「試著更性感、更討喜一點」像是現實生活中男導演會對女演員說的話，這邊也在暗示表面上看起來男性掌控著權力，但背後主宰一切的是女性的強大力量。
